Bob Boone, President
Bob is the President of the Bernard McDonough Foundation located in Parkersburg, WV which was founded in 1962 by the late Bernard P. McDonough. They are a Private Foundation with assets totaling $37 million and provide approximately 150 grants to non-profits in all 55 counties of WV and Washington County, Ohio. Their annual giving totals close to $1.5 million. Their focus is funding non-profits that serve the Basic Human Needs sector which includes Social Welfare along with Health & Medical. Their goal is to reach more non-profits that are located in rural areas of WV.
Bob has been on the board of the Foundation for 14 years and has been President since July, 2015 after taking over from Bob Stephens. Prior to that he was employed by McDonough Corporation as CFO and held various positions in the For-Profit sector over the last 40 years. Bob is a graduate from Marshall University where he majored in accounting and is a CPA. He resides in Vienna with his wife Lori and has three kids.
