Grant Application Process

The McDonough Foundation has an online grant application process.  Hard copy grant applications will no longer be accepted.  We do not have a deadline to apply. You can only apply for one grant each year.

First Step
A Letter of Inquiry (LOI)  has to be completed and accepted before a full grant application can be submitted.  Once we receive your LOI, we will determine if your grant request meets our funding criteria and areas of emphasis.  This step is vital in determining where our limited resources can make a positive impact in the areas we serve.  If your LOI is approved, you will be invited to complete a full grant application to be considered for funding.  Information entered on your LOI will copy over to your Grant Application to minimize any duplication of input.

Navigating our Grant System
Before you can submit an LOI to apply for a grant online, you will need to create an account if you don't already have one.

If you have any problems setting up your account or applying online, please contact Katrina Valentine at (304) 424-6280 or katrina@mcdonoughfoundation.org
